Produced locally, Barr Tech Plus is made up of yard waste and decomposed plant matter (known as "clean green" material) and bio solids. Composted according to the strict guidelines of the US Composting Council, using special thermal tarps to reach the optimal temperature, ensuring the material is fully composted.  It makes for a super-rich soil amendment, or a fertile mulch.  When using as a mulch, although its rich black color looks great, weeds will love it as much as your plants will.  This compost has become the new local favorite among avid gardeners.
